Have you seen a lactation consultant? If you haven’t, I really recommend it. She helped me so much, it made a huge difference. I hope you do write your story!! Let me know if you do, I would love to read it.

I dealt with so many of the same problems. Going on 11 weeks and still not perfect…but still going at it!! I had bad latch, cracked sore nipples, thrush, a full body rash that lasted 2 weeks from an allergic reaction to lanolin (yesss oatmeal baths!), and then discoverd she had a posterior tongue tie and no matter problems i fixed..she couldn’t use t theje correct tongue motions. So we got the procedure about 4 weeks ago and things have been better. So much better. But not perfect. I come to thr conclusion breastfeeding will never be easy or completely comfortable for me..but i am going til 6 months and will reevaluate. Thanks for your story..i may blog my full story in a few weeks too!

So proud of you and your breastfeeding journey, Sam! You are so awesome at life. I thoroughly enjoyed reading every bit of this, and you have probably made so many women so comfortable, and calm. I would have been a neurotic mess if I were you, you made all of the best choices, and remained calm through it all.
